IT Support

What you will do:

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults
  • Support the roll-out of new applications
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • Work continuously on a task until completion (or refer to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers
  • Test and evaluate new technology
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.

What experience you should have:

  • Bachelor degree in Technical University
  • Understanding and ability to install and configure Windows-Based Systems
  • Computer problems diagnostic and repair
  • Fundamental Networking Knowledge Windows/Internet Based applications
  • Basic network administration and configuration (WiFi configuration, switching and routing)
  • Ability to support users with general questions and technical support for a variety of internet and software related problems
  • Work as 1st and 2nd level support for users
  • Willingness to take direction from and work with other team members
  • Good communication skills with our customer base
  • Procurement and organization of equipment, communication with vendors
  • System administration of our services
  • Knowledge of Windows OS / Up to Windows 10
  • Basic linux/unix know-how
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite including troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Windows Server OS / Up to Server 2016
  • Basic core networking skills
  • MCP/MCSA/MCTS Certification is a plus
